“People like working with people,
that’s how real partnerships start.”
Anne Schipper stumbled into it by accident. Not into the wine, not into the boxes, but into the world of operations and supply chain. A good personal connection with the then-COO, an open mindset, and suddenly she found herself heading up operations at e-Luscious. Her husband always puts it simply: “Anne moves boxes from A to B.” And he’s right, but anyone who knows her knows it’s so much more than that.
Anne Schipper, Head of Supply Chain & Data Management e-Luscious
e-Luscious is the parent company behind well-known brands like Wijnvoordeel, Wijnbeurs and Koffievoordeel. A 100% e-commerce player in the Benelux, with a supply chain that is anything but straightforward. Wine has its own dynamics: vintage changes, harvests that depend on the climate, and suppliers who are often small local winemakers with whom agreements are made at the start of the year about what gets produced and purchased. Forecasting a year ahead, for a product like this, is a fascinating puzzle.
When their supply chain planner left, e-Luscious went looking for a solution that combined both tooling and human expertise. That was the moment OAASIS came onto their radar. By the end of summer 2025, the decision was made and Anne knew: this is the right choice.
“People like working with people. You choose a partner because there’s a real connection and you believe in how they could strengthen your operations.”
Since October 2025, OAASIS Services launched with e-Luscious. Miguel Batalha, part of the OAASIS Services Team, has been working in daily operations as a planner within e-Luscious. What he does particularly well, according to Anne: creating insight from data and building awareness within the organisation about where the focus needs to be. The next step is moving from insight to action and real optimisation.
Her ambition for the years ahead with OAASIS is clear: cut the labour intensity of the supply chain significantly, bring down inventory levels and reduce costs. Because that, in Anne’s view, is what a great partnership looks like.
